Welcome to Association of Urban Debaters

2009 Camp Schedule
The urban Debate Camp benefits and influences the future of student leader--future lawyers, politicians, social, corporate, religious and community leaders while immediately and dramatically increasing their capabilities for academic excellence. Teaching students oratory and communicative skills will improve their cognitive thinking, and applied persuasive skills for the rest of their lives.

Urban debaters tend to have higher grade-point averages, graduate on time and perform better on reading tests, according to the national association.   The Atlanta chapter documented a 50 percent reduction in disciplinary referral for at risk middle students, and one study found that urban debaters are less likely to ge pregnant or engage in alcohol or drug use.
